Armin Peter joined the DFSA as Managing Director, Markets in August 2026. He leads the DFSA’s Markets Division, overseeing the regulatory framework and strategic development of capital markets within Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). He is also a member of the DFSA’s Executive Committee.

In this role, Mr Peter is responsible for the DFSA’s regulatory oversight of capital markets, including capital raising activities, market infrastructure, listings, disclosure standards, investor protection and market integrity. Working closely with industry participants and public-sector stakeholders, he supports the continued development, resilience and international competitiveness of DIFC’s capital markets through effective regulation and engagement with the wider financial ecosystem.
